There's been a lot of talk lately about cosplay competitions, and the poor sportmanship that exists when a competition takes place.

Whether that be a disagreement of the competition results, the mistreatment of contestants, or just passive aggressive abuse that occurs after the competition ends.

After entering more than a dozen major cosplay competitions in my time doing this wonderful hobby, i've experienced my fair share of defeat.

While it can be painful and heartbreaking, there's absolutely a right way and a wrong way to go about losing a competition.
