Washable Face Mask with Filter Pocket // Tutorial
The video presents a tutorial for creating a washable face mask with a filter pocket. The objective is to provide a solution for those who need protection in low-risk situations, such as grocery shopping or short walks. Key details include the choice of materials, such as using 100% cotton to facilitate breathing, and the importance of washing the mask every two or three days and replacing the filter after each use. The required materials include fabric, elastic, scissors, needle, and thread. Highlights include the ease of creation, the possibility of customizing the size, and the importance of following the instructions to ensure the mask's effectiveness. The level of difficulty is considered beginner, making it accessible to those without sewing experience. Additionally, the tutorial provides useful tips, such as the recommended elastic size for different age groups.
After a big demand on my Instagram, I decided to make a face mask tutorial! I hope some of you will find it useful and you can help out others with your handmade masks. :)
* Please keep in mind that home made fabric masks are not replacing and do not give as much protection as a N95 or medical mask. But it's still something and enough for grocery shopping or short walks outside.
* You should wash it every second or third day and change the filter after every use.
* I recommend using 100% cotton, but you can use any kind of material you have at home, as long as you can breath in it.
Elastic rope size for:
Man: 18-20 cm
Women: 14-16 cm
Kids: 10-14 cm
