We built the legendary Sohothin from Guild Wars

To celebrate the new expansion of @guildwars2 Visions of Eternity and the release of Guild Wars Reforged we brought the legendary blade Sohothin into the real world. We were quite free with the design, as there are several different references of the weapon, so we decided to go with one of the official artwork versions. The 3D modeling process and the planning of all the features, like smoke and LEDs, were a real challenge.
