Explaining Cosplay to your Parents

Cosplay is a bit of an odd hobby to most people, including your parents. It can be a bit discouraging when your role models, the people you look up to the most, can be the ones who question your interests and can make you doubt yourself. However, if we look at the reasons why we do cosplay in the first place, it can help us understand why we really love such an odd hobby, and how we can better communicate that with those around us that don't quite understand.
