How to make a Mini Crinoline (Hoop Skirt) Tutorial | DIY Full Skirt

Is your dress looking a little flat even with a petticoat underneath? Don’t want to add more layers of petticoats because it would be too hot? Sounds like you need a skirt lifter to get that fullness! Otherwise known as a mini crinoline or hoop skirt. Then watch this tutorial.

This is a quick project that can make all the different - It took me about 30-60 minutes to put this together.

What you’ll need:
Tape Measure
Flat Steel Boning or Hoop wire
A marker
Metal Cutters
Something to make a boning channel. I am using a packet of blanket binding.
Twill tape or ribbon
Scissors
Thread
Pins
Elastic
A sewing machine
And some tape. Doesn’t have to be fancy.
