Anime Los Angeles 2022 Cosplay Music Video CMV 8K HDR
Anime Los Angeles is an anime convention held in Long Beach, CA. After a two year hiatus it came back with a strong attendance and amazing cosplayers. I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who shot with me.
Despite being held during a pandemic, everyone I met was in good spirits and willing to follow me to nice shooting locations. The Long Beach Convention Center is a nice facility, but I have long since given up shooting in the hallways and general gathering areas of a civic convention center. It's the places with interesting architectural features, murals, leading lines, or better lighting that I look for. The weather was mostly good, but Saturday was foggy and very overcast. I spent a large chunk of that day shooting the inside shots that you see in this video. Otherwise there was lots of sun and some very beautiful sunsets the other days. I often chose to shoot directly into the sun, which made it a challenge to grade the footage. I used all of the post processing magic I have to produce this video 🧙🏻♂️.
It took a lot longer to release this video due to regular life things getting in the way. Still, it's better late than never. I think it turned out very well. It took a while to find the right music, but I'm really happy with the songs as well. The first three flow together really well and the last one is more of a standard happy pop song.
