#BeautyWithDee: Junior Labs Black Magic Charcoal Mask
what's good? how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back with the #BeautyWithDee Series.
i came across a new charcoal mask via a company called Junior Labs. their charcoal product is called Black Magic, and it's a little different than most of the charcoal based masks on the market these days. first of all, it's an entire kit, complete with a toner, stir stick and face brush to apply the product, more than a lot of brands are proucing.
secondly, the mask
Contains 10 grams of charcoal
Non-toxic ingredients
Does not contain glue
pH Balanced
Made in the USA
i have to warn you that there is a very strong smell (not unpleasant or stinky, but due to the essential oils mixed within the product.) witch hazel takes some adjusting, and the lemongrass based oil in the mask itself is not overpowering, but may sneak up on you here and there. the smell didn't make me sick or uncomfortable, but you could definitely tell it was there.
overall i'm very pleased with my mask and the performance. even days later after using the mask, my skin is still soft and supple. my only grievance would be that i wish the brush had darker colored bristles, since it stained from the charcoal. but the mask did great, got a ton of dirt, oil and ick out from my pores, and helped to improve the quality of my skin. i'm looking forward to more items from Junior Labs for sure!
you can look up additional information about the mask and get yours here:
(ps, if you subscribe to their newsletter, they'll hook you up with a discount too.) mask retails for $19.99 as of today.
let me know in the comments section below what you think, and as always, thanks for watching.
