Otakon is a large 3-day anime convention held at the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington DC. Part of the event is also in the Marriott Marquis next door. Otakon is one of the largest anime conventions the east coast has to offer. Welcoming over 47,000 attendees in 2026, thousands of otakus, anime fans, as well as fans of gaming and pop culture gather around the massive hallways for the ultimate anime experience.
