Cosplay, Community & Crazy Deals: Perth’s First Cosplay Market!

Over the last few months, I've been working hard with Nix Cosplay (​⁠@nix_cosplay ) as the boots on the ground as we created Perth's very first Cosplay Market.

What is the Cosplay Market?
The Cosplay Market was started in Brisbane, QLD Australia by Nix Cosplay and Pipachuuuuu. The aim was to help cosplayers reduce waste and reuse/ recycle cosplays and materials. Vendors could sell their old cosplay related items and other cosplayers could pick up some massive bargains.
And along the way, raise money for a local charity.

(If you've been watching my channel for a while, you will know this whole concept is one very near and dear to my heart).

We were so very lucky to have PlayByProxy as our main sponsor. Their contribution ensured that we were able to keep the price of the vendor tables low and the price of entry as only a gold coin donation. PlayByProxy also donated some runnerup prizes in the cosplay competition AND printed the very snazzy volunteer shirts.
We also would like to thank Pixel Expo who donated the main prize of a double weekend pass to Pixel this year.
