Today I am joined by Jettee Lupe and we are sharing our experiences doing cosplay competitions, skits, and masquerades with physical disabilities. As someone who was doing cosplay contests as an able bodied person, I was so scared to do them with my disability. I couldn't find anyone else going through this. How would I get up the stairs? What if my cosplay isn't accurate? Would I be docked points?! We have some answers!
We go in depth on our experiences with accessibility, altering cosplays for your disability, craftsmanship judging, and cosplay contest performances. You CAN do cosplay competitions with a disability and you are NOT ALONE.
