Fanime is one of the conventions I attend regularly for the past decade except for 2015 & 2016. Since I am working on a new book revisiting cosplayers from the original book, it made sense to follow the conventions I first travel to in 2009, now 10 years later in 2018.
It's really an amazing opportunity given to me to re-connect with folks I originally photographed in 2009 and I'm hoping with the third book, the cosplayer's will have the chance to write about how cosplay has impacted their life.
The second half of the video are conversations I have with the many fans of Fanime. ENJOY !
