A short explanation of how I made my Aion LED Spellbook. I know Clerics cannot wear them but it was the only prop I could fit in my suitcase!
The circuit consist of digital RGB LED strips (44 LEDs in total) controlled with the Adafruit Trinket micro controller. I've run first test on an Arduino Uno. The power supply worked with the Adafruit Powerboost 500c, plus a 1200mhA Lipo battery. The book itself was made out of EVA foam (), Worbla and PVC pipes for the hinge.
