Cosplay tutorial - How to paint Worbla's Black Art

In this video I show you how I painted the jewelry for my Princess Celestia costume. First I used PVA primer (available at www.minque.nl) to prime the surface. I only needed two layers to get a really smooth result. Then I painted the whole thing with a dark brown. I applied two coats of brown. This serves as the shadow color for gold. Then I added a coat of gold. Parts of it were drybrushed and others just normally painted. The pieces that I wanted to be brighter received a second layer of gold paint. To get more depth I added black and white stripes to the piece. This really makes it more interesting!
