In this apprenticeship I teach you how to make the most iconic prop in all of Marvel history, Captain America's shield! This shield looks great, is light weight and can magnetize to your arm, just like his shield in the Avengers: Age of Ultron.
This build is made of easy to obtain plastics like Polly Plastics moldable plastic and EVA foam. It is made of Comic-Con friendly materials . So no matter whether your Captain America cosplay will be for a Convention, to watch the Civil War for the 10th time, or for filming a fan film this prop build will hold up to the closest of scrutiny and will blow people away.
The materials are easy to work with, takes minimal tools, and can be done in your apartment or a small space as you can see in the video :) You don't need a lathe or other large woodshop or metal working tools to build and it is stronger and more water resistant than paper, cardboard or other materials.
If you make this build, comment and tell me about it and please send me pictures, I would love to see them and hear about it!
