Here's how I made an extendable bionic arm that actually does cool stuff. The arm emulates powers from characters like terminator and mr. Fantastic. It features a 3d printed hand with 5 fingers and 14 joints all controlled by 5 servo motors. The arm can also extend out over a foot to give the user a little extra reach sort of like plastic man or mr fantastic. The arm also features a pop out Iron Man style 2W laser that can light candles and much more. Finally there is a Spider-man web shooter on the bottom for even more superhero powers. The arm was 3d printed and this is only version 1, so there are many improvements to be made. Hopefully this can be developed into a useful prosthetic that can help people with disabilities.
