How I made my Shadowheart Camp Vest - Baldur’s Gate 3 Cosplay

Hey everyone!
Happy New Year!
I’m finally back with a new full length video (not just a short haha) and it’s a rundown of how I made my Shadowheart Camp Vest from Baldur’s Gate 3!
I was way behind the 8 ball playing BG3 but better late than never!
I have also started her Dark Justiciar Armour so there will be videos for that once she’s made, and hopefully templates if I can suss out making them!
For this vest, I used the pattern by FD Studios, which you can find here
I used the XS pattern and the sizing was pretty on point, leaning towards the larger measurements listed for the size. I can not speak for the larger sizes though. For reference, my measurements are about 32-25-35.
If purchasing this pattern, use the measurements on their website. When I purchased it, the measurements in the pattern itself had not been updated and did not include XS.
The chest ornament and hair ornament were 3D printed and the I purchased (by Krotek) can be found here
I did scale the chest piece down a bit, and cut out the underside of the hair piece so it could sit over the wig ponytail
I know a lot of people have struggled with this camp top pattern (but still produced STUNNING results), so I wanted to show how I - someone who is not proficient in sewing - made it. It’s probably so technically incorrect it’s laughable, but it worked for me so hopefully works for some of you!
