How To Be a Cosplay Guest, broken down into five areas of focus.
Marketing (getting your name out there)
Networking (making those connections)
Community (being a part of/resource for the cosplay community)
Talent/Skills/Offerings (what can you bring to the table?)
Taking Care (take care of you and all that goes into this)
I am not authorized to speak on behalf of any other convention, convention staff, leadership, or entity. I share this video based upon my experiences in my cosplay career, with full and positive intentions of helping other cosplayers looking to get into this. I happily welcome advice from any other seasoned cosplayers who have guested regularly, especially if there is anything that I missed or that you believe could also be helpful.
