How to Make a Homemade Battery: Pennies, Lemons, and Salt Water

13507 visualizações Publicado em 2014-11-29
This is a video on how to make a home made battery, using pennies, lemons or salt water. By soaking some cardboard in an acetic solution, such as vinegar or lemon juice, and sanding off one side of a penny made in 1982 or later, we can get a voltage. As electrons leave the positive copper terminal and flow into the negative zinc terminal, electrons are replaced by the electrolytes in the acid solution. This can also be done with a lemon, or any other citrous fruit. As well as salt water, coke, or any other liquid containing electrolytes. If you liked this video, click here to check out more!

Also there was an audio problem for those of you who are wondering why my voice sounds muffled.
