How to make a Long Tiered Petticoat (Tutorial)
Do you need a long tiered petticoat for your next historical-inspired gown, ball gown cosplay or even wedding dress? Then it's time to get your DIY on - here is the tutorial for you!
This is designed for an advance beginner - intermediate sewer.
Materials required:
Crinoline - you can find how I made mine from here
- Non-stretch fabric - (I needed 11 meters for my project)
- Matching threat
- A-line skirt pattern. (I’m using is Butterick 4131)
- Pins
- Fabric scissors
- Tailor’s chalk
- Tape measure
- Ruler
- Bias binding
- Twill tape
- Hook and bar
- Optional: lace
