A tutorial of how I made my blades for my Katarina cosplay from League of Legends.
This tutorial can also be applied to other swords and daggers.

The materials I used :
Card board
Worbla (Thermoplastic) available here
Craft foam / EVA foam 6mm - please check for a local supplier I only know where to get foam in South Africa.

What is Worbla?
Worbla is a thermoplastic, you can find more information on it here
Can I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?
For just craft foam it MIGHT work but for thermoplastics like worbla you cannot use a hair dryer, it will not get hot enough.
How do I prime the swords?
I use PVA based woodglue or Gesso primer.
How do I paint my sword?
