How to make Katarina's Swords

A tutorial of how I made my blades for my Katarina cosplay from League of Legends.

Card board
Worbla (Thermoplastic) available here : http://www.mycostumes.de/Worblas-Finest-Art_1
Craft foam / EVA foam 6mm - please check for a local supplier I only know where to get foam in South Africa.

Can I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?

For just craft foam it MIGHT work but for thermoplastics like worbla you cannot use a hair dryer, it will not get hot enough.


How do I prime the swords?

I use PVA based woodglue or Gesso primer.
