How to Make your Own Worbla - PolyArmor
Get Your Plastic to Make PolyArmor Here
Hey Cosplayers, are you sick of paying an arm and a leg for Worbla, CosplayFlex, and Thibra only to have to coat it in a million layers of bondo or gesso just to get a smooth finish?
Have no fear! PolyArmor is here!!!!!! Now you can make your very own Worbla but that is even better (super smooth and plenty of stick) for a fraction of the cost!!!!
RECIPE:
Equal Parts (1:1 ratio using american measuring utensils) of Polly Plastics moldable plastic and regular white baking flour!
Polly Plastics works better for this than other moldable thermoplastics because it can take more filler and still remain sticky to stick to itself.
Heat at 350 F for 10 mins, when safe to touch then knead it together into a ball.
Roll it out flat using a Pasta Maker at any thickness you would like, also allows you to avoid having to sandwich it with craft foam!
If you make PolyArmor for yourself, comment and tell me about it and please send me pictures, I would love to see and hear about your experience and get feedback as to what we can do to improve the formula! :)
inspired to spread the word and stick it to the worbla man by DLShadowolf :)
