LA Girl Pro Coverage Illuminating Foundation: Wear Test/Review
what's good? how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back with another video.
so i have to admit i was looking for the LA Colors Foundation everyone's hype about but couldn't remember if it was LA Colors or LA Girl. picked this up by mistake. but i'm not mad at it at all.
the foundation is hydrating, which is something that oily folk tend to stay away from, but for the most part, considering the wear through the day i wasn't upset with it. it's medium to full coverage and had great coverage, blending with my natural complexion and evening it out instantly. the brush that i used was a NYX Pro Multi-Purpose Buffing Brush (03)
the prices are all over the place though. i paid $9.99 for it, ulta has it for $8.99, wal mart online had it for $6.99, ultimately it just depends on the retailer you pick it up from.
overall, i think this is a great foundation for daily wear. the 9 hours i was able to make with one touch up is stellar for the cost point that this is. as someone who loves makeup and has oily skin, i've found it nearly impossible to make it through a day without having to blot at least once. even with the crazy skincare that i do, i can't make it through an entire workday without some oil breakthrough, and i'm good with that. (unless there's magic out there which can help, and if so, i want it.)
what do you guys think? have you heard of this foundation? interested in it? let me know in the comments section below, and as always, thanks for watching.
ps, at the time i filmed this, i wasn't at 2000 subscribers yet. i definitely am now. thank you so much for your support!
