My Makeup Story: Why I Do What I Do!

never really was open about my self image/self esteem issues until now. but that's the reason i got into makeup-- i was unhappy with how i looked. and i figured, if i made my face pretty enough, people would be too distracted to notice the rest of me, which i felt was flawed. and though there's always room for improvement, i'm happier now than i was when i first learned how to blend.
with that being said, i used makeup as a shield and a distraction. and there might be someone out there who feels the same. or doesn't feel like theirself without makeup. maybe you know someone who is having a hard time recently, and could use a little positivity. maybe you just want to make someone's day better.
that brings me to my giveaway. i want you to pay it forward! nominate someone who you think could benefit from a little makeup goody bag/surprise. tell me about them, what they mean to you, and why you think they deserve it. (it might be handy to also leave a social media handle so that i can contact them too? we'll sort that out later.) i will enter all nominees in a random online generator and pick the winner on October 1st. also, you will get a little something too for nominating someone-- i really want to pay it forward and i would love for you to do so too.
