New #FentyBeauty Products! Kilawatt, Stunna Lip Paint, Pro Filt'r & More
what's good/ how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back, FINALLY with a makeup video! i know, it's been ages, and i'm so sorry for the delay. but i needed to get a few things for my cosplay coming up in March, and Fenty Beauty just so happened to have what i'm looking for. in addition, i wanted to try the other newly released items too.
we have--
Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer, which is $26
Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder, which is $32
two Stunna Lip Paints, $24 each
a new Kilawatt Freestyle Highlighter, $34
and a new Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer, $18
note-- i didn't realize at the time that i filmed that the setting powder comes with a plastic tray insert to help keep the product from spilling out after you've removed the protective seal. so that's neat.
overall, i'm a big fan of the quality. the stunna lip paint stayed on all day, after two meals, chicken wings (forgot to film lol) lots of errands and a nap. i'm pleased with the color selection that's available now, and i feel both these colors would look good on anyone. the pink will take some work to match up with an appropriate look, but it will go great for my cosplay.
the kilawatt granules in this shade are a bit chunkier than the standard one she had. similar to the diamond dust, but a very very incremental amount finer than trophy wife, which was all over the place for a lot of folks. i wouldn't wear this every day, but it will go great with themed looks, such as what i'm doing, or as a topper since many of her products can be interchangeable.
the lipgloss isn't anything fancy, but i do love the shade.
the concealer was CLUTCH! SOOPER CLUTCH! i love the opacity and the performance! and the setting powder was just as nice. i'm used to my laura mercier translucent powder, but this was comparable, and made my entire face velvety smooth. word up to my boo Jackie for recommending the concealer to me.
overall, i am pleased with the latest products and i don't regret my purchase in any way. but it will probably be the last big fenty investment for awhile since she's forever coming for our wallets lol.
what do you think? sound off in the comments. and thanks for watching. i'll see you next month after NakaKon is done!
