I spent a few days over Christmas tabbing out some of my favourite songs on guitar, decided to give recording another go!

I've tried recording something similar in the past and gave up due to sheer frustration with a bunch of different things, so i'm relatively happy with how this turned out!

It's the first time i've recorded myself singing in a full length video so you'll have to forgive the errors! Hopefully i'll be able to shake the nerves in future videos and not need to split it up into two sections!).

Getting the right sound is really frustrating, but I wanted to record something without being overly picky. I basically used my phone hooked up to a shotgun mic positioned near the guitar about 30cm away. This being said, if you have any suggestions on the best way to record guitar+voice at the same time - please let me know!
