NorCal Spring Cosplay Gathering 2015

NorCal Cosplay Gathering operates three times a year rotating through three different parks. For the Spring Gathering, the location is Kelley Park in San Jose. The other two parks are Coyote Point in San Mateo for the Summer Gathering and Lake Elizabeth / Central Park in Fremont, CA. The event cost $5 which covers park reservation and free food/drinks for attendees. This Spring 2015 gathering was their largest ever at 835 attendees.
As stated on their page : the purpose is for cosplayers and photographers to meet up in a scenic location to get some great pictures, make new friends, and visit with long-time friends outside of the chaos of a convention
I believe this might be the largest cosplay gathering (outside of a con) in the United States followed by Chicago's SoyCon (which isn't a con but two day gathering)
