Sephora Play Box: All Star Edition

what's good? it's ya girl dee back with another video.
so i recently got the new Sephora Play Box, the All Star Edition. these are special edition non subscription play boxes that contain some higher end items from prestige brands, a beautiful bag, and a cute insert/descriptive packaging to talk about the products and their benefits. the normal play box subscriptions are usually themed and come with 5 products and a perfume sample, and cost $10. the special edition ones are $20.
and i'm not impressed. i feel like, for one, the fact that this is supposed to be special, it really isn't. this time around one of the items contained (the dior mascara) is one item i've received repeatedly as a sample offering on orders from Sephora prior. the moisturizer was excellent, not going to lie. that made my skin feel ridiculously soft after application. the perfume sample quantity is better than the traditional play box as well, but the quantity of the other items still isn't justifiable for the cost of the box, especially since the Dior Mascara is something i'm already familiar with.
i do plan to give the limited edition boxes one last try before swearing them off completely, but i can let you know now, you're probably better off missing out on this one unless you absolutely need to have it. i can't tell you what to do, but i'll strongly encourage you to save that $20.00. especially with gas being what it is lol.
