Sewing a 1905 Walking Skirt - Historically Inspired Sophie Hatter Part 3

Hello friends!! ♡

It's time for some more historical sewing! As you all know I've been working on my historically inspired Sophie for quite some time now! It's so nice to finally be building one of the visible garments!

This skirt is a modified 1905 walking skirt made following the Key Stone to Dress Making! It's so fun to be following these historical documents. Plus I had a great time hand finishing these seams - they look so pretty and were so relaxing to do!

I think the skirt ended up ADORABLE. Tbh if I could get away with wearing this in daily life I totally would. Haha. Let me know what you think!
