Snapchat Video Blog: Chun Li Cosplay! (Test Run)
what's good? how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back with another video.
i had planned to attend all three days of Kansas City Comicon, but because i was so focused on sewing our Mortal Kombat outfits, i did purchase this outfit. however, due to that lack of sleep (i'm caught up now y'all! i promise!) i didn't make it to day 3. however, i was invited to participate in another cosplay photoshoot so i decided to finish this up and do a test run. i saw another cosplayer who had picked up a Chun Li costume as a cosplay and was inspired to do the same. growing up on Street Fighter, she was one of my favorite characters to utilize and had a signature look.
came to discover that one of the pieces for the costume was too small, so i hand made another one (the white sash/belt.) we take another trip to JoAnn's fabrics and crafts to get the materials needed to duplicate this, and then also add a little bit more ribbon onto the head pieces.
overall, it came out great! super pleased with all of the pieces being assembled. be sure to follow my social media as we go through the photo shoot, and i will have another Snapchat Blog to follow up as well.
if you are interested in picking up this costume, check Amazon!
