(i revised this a little, but this is what it was written off of...)

To the human that found it within himself
To run game that was lame
On a woman who didn't need to endure pain
And strife at the worthlessness he brought to her life,
To the human that liked her and put a ring on it
And put his thing in it, until there was cream with it
That 9 months later bore the woman you see before you,
To the human that didn't love his woman anymore
Because he was too busy being a whore
Or a crack fiend, or a jailbird,
With nothing but hateful words to deplore
As he rotted away, til he was finally free
To sign his name on the dotted line of that decree,
To the human who seemed to forget
That July 17th, '83, in Kansas City, Ks
HIS name was listed as the father on the birth certificate,
To the human I never knew of until
Mama told me when I was 16 and by
Then I was smart enough to already see
That the only person I resembled in the family was
Her, not the man I know, love, and call Daddy,
To the human that went on to find happily ever after
With another woman
After another woman, chapter after chapter
To the human that disappeared from all knowledge,
Recollection, history, memory, virtually not existing in the same city,
Almost, but barely remembered by me
To the human whose only presence in my life
Was that he busted a nut all up in his then current wife
To the human who LIVED and DIED in the SAME CITY as I
Without so much as acknowledging his firstborn child...
After d*mn near 27 years, the only thing I have to say to you is...

"Why?"
