Storybook Cosmetics: Rose Face Brushes
what's good? it's ya girl Dee back with another video. as mentioned previously, i have received the new What's In A Name Rose brushes from Storybook Cosmetics. These are 4 beautiful face brushes, primarily intended to be used with powder makeup products, though they can be used for creams and liquids. (you'll just have to work a little harder) they are soft, dense, and the handles are ridiculously sturdy, made of a metal alloy. the brushes are cruelty free and include a pretty makeup bag for storage. i used all 4 brushes, not all of them for their intended purpose tho lol. but overall they performed very well. This set of four rose brushes have stunning scarlet ombre cruelty-free synthetic bristles and gorgeous green rose steam metal alloy handles. Each set includes a tapered highlighting brush, angled contour/blush brush, flat top powder brush, and a dome top powder brush.
this was a complete and utter impulse purchase, not gonna lie! but for being an indie brand, as well as the first face brushes that Storybook has produced, i'm thoroughly impressed. the $55 price might be steep, but averages out to be $13.75 per brush (or $11 for each brush and the bag, depending on how you want to do the math.) that's less than the average brush at sephora and ulta, though you can definitely find brushes cheaper. but no one out there, other than one dupe i found online, has rose face brushes, that are of a stellar quality. i have to say that i'm glad i got these. you dont need em. but i'm glad i have em.
Storybook will be having a full sale in July if you want to pick some up! keep an eye on their website for details.
as always, thanks for watching!
