Supergirl Cosplay Build on a 1970s Sewing Machine

I'm making a Supergirl cosplay on a 1970's sewing machine (Viking Husqavarna 6000 series)! I limited myself to only using a straight stitch and a zig-zag stitch and no serger at all. This was actually my sewing set up before May 2019, but I've made a lot of new videos on my fancy electronic machine since then. So I'm making this video to show how you can make really cool costumes with these older machines! I'm also showing you an alternative to an applique stitch and some ways to finish your seams and edges if you don't have a serger. If you're looking for a cheaper option to get started with sewing then check out your local thrift stores and antique stores for one of these older machines!

Want to see me make cosplays on limited time or resources?

Music is performed and recorded by my husband on electric guitar. It is his own original composition.
