The Uncomfortable Accuracy of Nana's Characterization

Not only is Nana a well written story, but the characters are designed in a way that makes them relatable to an uncomfortable degree. There characters relate to the worst parts of ourselves, whether it is our flaws or painful memories. I think this characterization is one of the many factors that makes Nana such an iconic and compelling story.
