video blog: I maneuvered out of the Note 7 forced update
literally the same day I caught another YouTuber's video about the imminent forced update that would cripple battery usage to 60%, the update installed on my phone. thanks to the boys at Note 7 Rebels with the know how to suppress it and prevent any future forced updates from coming.
I do intend to trade my phone in, when I'm ready and can get a device that I'm comfortable with. also, an interesting follow up to my previous Note 7 blog, as one of the things I said was more likely to happen than the Note 7 overheating, really took place.
as always thanks for watching, and if you are not here for my shenanigans, hit that X in the corner ❤
edit: per Jay, admin of Note 7 Rebels, EZ package disabler is no longer supporting/activating for use on the version they initially had encouraged people to use, per request of Samsung. if you have the update downloaded, but not installed, take a crack at it. i can't promise it will work, but it's worth a shot.
