Kingdom Hearts 1 came out in 2002. I was 19.
Kingdom Hearts 2 came out in 2005. i was 22. the kid was 7 months old.
there have been plenty of filler games in to assist with the storyline as well on DS. but I held out for this one. there are also a few videos on YouTube that have the entire storyline to help prepare you for the game as well.
I pre-ordered in August of 2017.
I stayed up playing so long I woke up with the controller still in my hand.
I just wanted to share my happiness with the game. fellow nerds, did you get your copy? what world are you in right now? sound off in the comments, and may your heart be your guiding key.
