WALT DISNEY "Mulan" | Reflection (cosplay Chinese / English music video)

5 video sets, 2 costumes, a ton of props - this was easily the most challenging project I've taken on so far. Combining both the elements of modern and traditional, planning, sewing, creating sets, shooting, recording and editing took me at least a week! 🍮

Mulan (1998) was the first childhood movie I resonated with. Being Chinese, I distinctly remember drawing her in art class and it has been a dream of mine to bring her to life. Please enjoy my re-imagination of this classic heroine with a modern twist.
