Believe it or not, I worked for 2 years on this comparatively simple costume! But cosplay is my full-time job, and I pay my bills by creating costumes for companies, as well as books and patterns for my own shop - so working on a passion project that doesn't "bring anything in" is kinda challenging. However, I think Sith Princess Leia shows that it's totally fine to take your time with something and even abandon it if you don't feel it. I'm super happy though that I was still able to finish her, especially since it almost didn't happen!
