what's good? how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back with another video.
i picked up the new YSL All Hours Foundation, in the shade Chocolate. i walked around in Sephora with this on for an extended period of time, and then took several pictures with flash to ensure that it was adequately blended. it's full coverage and lasted throughout the evening's festivities with minimal oil breakthrough. i only blotted once and that was inadvertent, just to make sure i wouldn't ruin the rest of my makeup with tears lol.
i also used the bare minerals combo control milky face primer. it smoothed my skin (and i show you guys by zooming in lol) and made a perfect canvas for the foundation to adhere to.
all in all, i know that there's not a foundation out there that will allow for zero oil breakthrough, it's physically and scientifically impossible (unless somebody knows something i don't know, and if so, PROVE ME WRONG!) but for the time being, this is a solid product. a necessary investment? not in my opinion. but a solid product for sure.
