Ahhh thank you so much to my sweet twitter follower who suggested this roleplay and I was like.... wait....YES?? So I did it. And it was so much fun! I have loved loved loved The Sound of Music since I was a wee child, and reading all your comments, it seems I'm not the only one! I hope I did Julie Andrews a little bit of justice lmao - I love that her accent is a bit british and a bit transatlantic at the same time!
So get comfy in your bed, and let your new Governess Maria sing you to sleep so we can have a full fun day tomorrow!
Fun fact - my Oma (German for grandma) MADE the clothes that I'm wearing, dress and jacket!!! I thought it was perfect for Maria! More fun fact - my Oma and Opa actually knew the real Von Trapp family! Did you know The Sound of Music is based on a true story and family? Well, it's completely Hollywood-ized LOL and even the names of the children aren't accurate BUT - they knew them! Lived near their lodge. Small world??
