DIY Borax Projects: Green Fire, Slime, and Crystals

Learn how to make green fire, slime, and crystals out of borax.
To make green fire, just mix some 100% isopropyl alcohol or some Heet antifreeze with some borax and light it on fire. The boric acid will turn the flame green.
To make slime, just mix boric acid with Elmers glue and add a few drops of food coloring. The boron ion will react with the polyvinyl alcohol and create a polymer.
To make boric acid crystals just mix some borax with some hot water and dunk a pipe cleaner ornament into the mixture. Within 24 hours your crystals will be done.
