Kat Von D 10-Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette: Swatches/Review (brown girl friendly)
what's good? how ya doin? it's ya girl Dee back with another video.
i love Kat Von D's cosmetics, as they are great quality, awesome color payoff, and long lasting. the 10th anniversary palette is a great pick up for any Kat Von D fan. i misspoke about her inspiration-- she chose 10 muses for 10 years, though there are 16 shades. each of them are very pigmented and show up well on any skin tone. the shades aren't muddy, they blend well (i did choose a different eyeshadow primer but overall it was still good color payoff) and the packaging is gorgeous. such a contrast from kat's standard black with silver lettering. the shades also showed up excellently on my skin, something that typically lighter toned shades don't do very well. each swatch was awesome.
as for the eyeliner, my other pick up from the collection, the only major difference is the packaging and the larger size barrel. however, that barrel being larger than the traditional Tattoo eyeliner helped to make a difference in the application of my wings, and went on without any kind of difficulty. i do plan to pick up a few more to keep as backups.
i misspoke about the full collection, it's $348, not $364. still expensive lol, but when you think about the individual price of everything, it still is worthwhile. you can get the collection here:
as well as from sephora's site too.
thinking about getting it? let me know in the comments section below, and as always, thanks for watching.
