so i tried the whole "dunk your face in water" for badass makeup thing.
you do not need to do this.
repeat.
this is not a necessity.
repeat.
this is not required.
again.
you don't need to do this. this is not a vital part of your every day life. you don't need to do this to survive. there are many things on this planet that are required. this isn't one of them.
aside from my poor breathing skills, i do have to say that with the water drying, it really DID give me a flawless makeup application. several of my friends in my makeup group were wondering if we could achieve the same effect by using a setting spray and/or normal spray water. i will try that next since i have multiple products that could serve in that purpose, but i think the science of the actual water being controlled and not sprayed or some other logical factoid i'm overlooking may prevent it from taking place. i don't know.
this is inspired from a new trend that's actually been around for awhile, "jamsu," which is a korean for diving. it started to pick up popularity over the summer though it's making its way around instagram as of late (i saw it courtesy of @anneprettyness)
as for how practical this is, it could, though extreme, be used for special occasion makeup, photography makeup maybe, but not on a daily or regular basis at all, unless you're about that life, have gills, and Aquaman is your baby daddy.
jokes aside, thanks for watching. be sure to like and subscribe!
