video blog: #KCRW2017-- Fogo De Chao!

my brother and I always hit up Fogo De Chao during #KCRW, Kansas City Restaurant Week. I figured that this would be a good time to introduce the Not So Small Child to this style of dining, and it was very much worth it. for one thing, it was only half price for him, in addition to the normal $33 per person special, so i was pretty pleased with that. as well, he had enough appetite for it to where he was satisfied, and he had a great time.

if anyone ever wants to try a brazilian steakhouse, just remember the following:
if you're going or lunch, have a light breakfast.
if you're going for dinner, have a light lunch.
don't fill up at the salad bar
don't fill up on the potatoes/cheese rolls.
pace yourself
drink plenty of water
don't get a soft drink (no refills! it's a waste of money!)
sign up for their e-mail list for special promo's and coupons (i was able to redeem a $15.00 reward just for updating my e-mail preferences)
follow the restaurant on social media for specials too (we checked in on facebook with their special Snapchat geofilter and got a free coupon for a free drink from the bar!)
and most importantly, save a little bit of money for it. Fogo is normally $50.00 a person, $25 during lunch
