Wearing Facepaint to a Con? With a Mask? Here's Some Tips to Help!
What's good? How ya doin? It's ya girl Dee, back with another video.
This summer was a busy one with back to back to back convention appearances, and I had the crazy ambitions of wearing facepaint to all of them, in the heat of the east coast, and the humidity of the midwest. I did learn a little bit about wearing facemasks and paint simultaneously, and wanted to share some tips for prolonging your paint for the duration of the convention/event.
Depending upon your area/region/city, your regulations for mask wearing may be subject to change, and that's understandable. At the time that this was filmed (September 2021), my city and county were still under a mask mandate. I am also aware that face shields exist, but I know that they are not always conducive to be worn. The tips provided are based upon my own experiences; if you have feedback or other suggestions I would love to hear it in the comments below!
Thanks for watching as always.
