messing around with Android 8.0 (beta) on the Google Pixel XL. if you have a pure Android device you may notice some differences.
REMEMBER THIS IS NOT 100% STABLE, IF YOU USE THIS AND OPT OUT YOU WILL HAVE A FACTORY RESET ON YOUR PHONE.

i enjoy this! i really do. i'm also a beta tester for Facebook and report bugs and issues before the actual solid update of the app is distributed to everyone, so this is not a new concept for me. the speed is there, the features are there (i also discovered that Google Play Music will change colors depending on the album cover and colors used there, also in the notification screen and lock screen.) i wish we had a solid name for it, but i know Google will choose something satisfying.
