Urban Decay Moondust Palette & All Nighter Foundation || Review
hey there! it's dee, back with another video. today i reviewed the Urban Decay moondust palette and the Urban Decay all nighter foundation.
the palette-- $49
foundation-- $40
available at Ulta, Sephora, and urbandecay.com
not gonna lie, this palette, though pretty, takes a steady hand and some getting used to, in order to work with it. i plan to experiment more when i film my next tutorial. the directions state that it's recommended to apply the shadow with your fingertip, as well as wet. i'm not too keen on fingertips because i have fat fingers lol, but as for the wet application, i have tested it previously with MAC Fix +, evian facial spray, and Wet & Wild Photo Focus finishing spray. the photo focus and the fix+ seemed to work best.
for the foundation, it was a little tricky at first. urban decay's customer service confirmed that the shade range is identical to that of the Naked Skin foundation, and my shade is #12. it went on bright, but you will notice later in the video that after the foundation had oxidized some, it actually adjusted to my skin tone somewhat, and really depends on the lighting. it is all matte, which is what we oily folk need in a foundation, and long lasting.
all in all, i do recommend both of these products but make sure you do your homework on the moondust palette before you buy.
as always, thanks for watching/liking/subscribing!
